DSD Colorado Dragon Boat Festival Fundraiser Booth Volunteer Sign Up

We need your help! Domino Service Dogs is hosting a Beer/Seltzer fundraiser booth at the upcoming Colorado Dragon Boat Festival, and we are looking for amazing volunteers without their service dogs to join us for a fun weekend at Sloan's Lake Park.

Event & Shift Information

• Location: Sloan's Lake Park (1700 N Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80212)
• Dates: Saturday, August 29th & Sunday, August 30th, 2026

Available Shifts:

• Saturday 8/29: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (2/5 slots available)
• Saturday 8/29: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (4/5 slots available)
• Saturday 8/29: 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM (2/5 slots available)
• Sunday 8/30: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM (3/5 slots available)
• Sunday 8/30: 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM (5/5 slots available)


Free Volunteer Shuttle & Parking

The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival is a massive event with no on-site public or volunteer parking at Sloan’s Lake. To make things easy, DSD is providing a free round-trip shuttle for all volunteers!

• Meeting Location: Lakewood Elks Lodge #1777 (1455 Newland St, Lakewood, CO 80214)
• Parking: Free parking is available at the Elks Lodge Lakewood where the shuttle departs.
• Arrival Time: Please arrive 45 minutes before your shift to allow time for check-in and the shuttle ride.

Dress Code & Tips

• Shoes: Closed-toe shoes are required for safety (no sandals or flip-flops).
• Shirts: Please wear your orange DSD shirt or a Dogs at the Rox shirt if you have one. If you don't, no worries! We will have a Dogs at the Rox shirt ready for you when you arrive.
• Stay Cool: Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are highly recommended. Bring a cooling neck wrap if you have one (DSD will also have a limited supply available).
• Hydration: Water will be provided at the booth, but please bring your own refillable water bottle to help us reduce waste.
• Bring a friend: Volunteering is always more fun with company! Feel free to invite friends, family, or coworkers to sign up for a shift with you at the link below!
